Broken...second time used November 7, 2008 My second time at the driving range, the head flew off the 3 iron and went sailing! Now I'll have to figure out how to get it replaced.
Great Christmas Gift for Tall Guy January 1, 2008 Purchased for my Husband for Christmas....he golfed the day after with them and loved the way they played. He is 6'4" and really needed the longer clubs. Missed the cart stand on the bag though....Very impressed overall especially for the price!
Nice clubs for a taller man! November 1, 2007 Great clubs. Fast shipping. My husband is 6'2" and they fit him well. The only drawback is that the bag does not include a stand.
Tall Men Golf Clubs - Problems every other week October 27, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I was truly excited when these clubs arrived and I was able to play my first round of golf with them. Then I hit the 13th hole and to my surprise, my putter club head fell off. That's right - it just fell off! I contacted the company and they promptly sent out a replacement - Great Thing for their 1 year warranty. Now, several weeks later I'm out playing and hitting with my #3 wood - on the backswing - it snaps! I'm in the process of contacting these folks again. I would buyer beware and purschase these clubs only if you have enough time to follow up on the warranty.
Great Deal September 25, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought these clubs 3 months ago but I was able to play with them until a week ago. Of Course the price is awesome, that's mainly why I bought them because I have played golf only around 8 times in my life so I'm no Tiger Woods and I didn't want to spend a lot of money on great clubs because I'm still learning. So, my experience with this set??? Well, they turned out to be great great clubs, seriously, the driver and the hybrids are spectacular and really easy to hit a ball with them, I've never ever used a driver in my life, first attempt was a solid 180-yarder (at least, maybe more), hybrids work just as good. All the irons are amazing, the wedge is incredible, the putter is a little bit too heavy but it's only a matter of getting used to it. When I first saw them I thought the shaft was too fragile but it also proved me wrong. It is a very durable one so I'm not concerned anymore about breaking one - let's just say they experienced several challenging tests against the ground- and can definitely take a good beating. In my opinion the only con is that the bag is a cheap one and I rather have a stand bag, I didn't like it at all but that is not relevant, overall the quality, performance and look of the clubs itself exceeded my expectations and performed way better according to what I payed for them. I am very pleased with this purchase, with Golf Clubs of America and Amazon, and I highly recommend this set to anyone, specially beginners, looking to learn the sport, improve and getting better at it.
