Great but too big for me November 20, 2008 I liked most everything about this watch. But it was too big for my wrist. I have skinny wrists and it was possible to wear. But it looks too big. I returned it.
excelent October 31, 2008 excellent product, it is for a Friend of mine who is going to climb the Acongagua mountain in february and he loved the watch.
timex altimeter watch September 30, 2008 Great watch. Barometer seems accurate. Temperature is not as accurate. Large face make it easy to see.
Reason not to buy April 19, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Do not buy this watch if you are a skier. The altitude measurement is accurate but the accumulated altitude (accumulated vertical for skiers) does not work - it seems to accumulate about half the correct number on the way up and continues to accumulate on the way down - which it is not supposed to do. Timex will not admit to this problem. However I would highly recommend Amazon's vendor ProSportWatches
More that a watch April 1, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this watch to set the jetting on my racing go kart. I needed to know field elevation, and temperature. Plus changes in barometric pressure as the day went on. Most teams use a weather station and computer that cost over $700 for this purpose. My watch and accompaning chart (for the motor) has given me the same results. I can also use it for timing with the stop watch. The only negative is you do need to calibrate it often, and if you want accurate temprature take it off and put in a shaded place for a while. It will pick up your body heat. Would I do it again ( purchase it) Yes I would,I like it.
